With the learning and feedback of Polludrone_V2, the new Polludron design is sleek, compact and effective. New Design is a multipurpose design which can be used in both outdoor and indoor applications. The sensing part follows patented methodology for better and more accurate data. The new design also allows to switch between solar panel and AC power for power input. The new Polludron design is strategically worked out to adjust device volume to accommodate large sensor set.

Learning from feedback
From the prototype and feedback, we realised that it was difficult to extend the device size and orientation was landscape. There was also a big possibility of bird poop accommodation on the top surface.

*Why vertical orientation?
The entire enclosure is locked by end plates that fits perfectly with a body. Top and bottom plates combines with three parts with top plate as a single part, with two parts on the bottom. As this is a first version, there will be many changes in design with refinement, so all en plates parts are developed in aluminium machining. Machining is a bit costly, but effective when you require small quantity without investing much in tooling.

Enclosure Design
Finally we decided to go with Extrusion based design concept. The entire enclosure is made out of four extrusion parts linking with each-other. The section is designed in such a way that the enclosure looks seamless once all parts in place. The joineries are also designed in such a way the product remains dust and water resistant.
